In an impressive Halloween yard display Stranger Things fans perfectly recreate Maxs graveyard hovering scene from season 4s Dear Billy episode.

Stranger Things fans perfectly recreate Maxs season 4 gaveyard hovering scene in an impressive new Halloween display. After 3 successful seasons on Netflix the Duffer Brothers hit horror/ fantasy series returned for season 4 earlier this year introducing a new villain in the form of Jamie Campbell Bowers Vecna. In addition to a host of new characters Stranger Things season 4 brought a number of familiar faces like Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) Mike (Finn Wolfhard) Hopper (David Harbour) and fan favorite Max (Sadie Sink). Although there were a handful of memorable moments in Stranger Things season 4 one scene in particular was highly praised.

After being noticeably distant for the first few episodes of season 4 following the death of her brother Billy in season 3 Max has a very close call with Vecna. In episode 4 which is titled Dear Billy Max visits her brothers grave only to find herself stuck in Vecnas mind lair. As Vecna prepares to kill Max her body in the real world begins to float into the air as her friends stand helplessly below. Max is ultimately able to escape Vecnas mind lair when Running Up That Hill by Kate Bush allows her to run back to the real world with the moment now cemented as one of the most iconic parts of Stranger Things season 4.

Although Halloween is still more than a month away some Stranger Things fans have already gone above and beyond with the yard decorations. Dave and Aubrey (@horrorprops on TikTok) have managed to perfectly recreate Maxs now-famous hovering scene from the show by somehow suspending a dummy several feet in the air in front of their house. The impressive yard display also features other elements from the show including Chrissys corpse trapped in Vecnas mind lair. Check out the TikTok below

The astonishing Stranger Things display has not only impressed fans who question how the Max dummy remains suspended in the air but Netflix itself has commented on the video saying #001 fan for sure jokingly referencing Vecnas status as 1 in the show. Late night host Jimmy Fallon also commented on the video calling the Halloween display amazing. While the Max hovering scene in Stranger Things led to a massive resurgence in Bushs Running Up That Hill its clear that the scene and the show in general may also lead to some very impressive decorations for the Halloween season.

While Max manages to escape Vecnas clutches in Dear Billy the Stranger Things season 4 finale sees their interaction play out very differently with Max actually dying before Eleven is able to bring her back to life. Maxs fate heading into Stranger Things season 5 may hang in the balance but thankfully fans like Dave and Aubrey chose to immortalize the character during a moment she does actually escape from. With no release date for Stranger Things season 5 in sight itll likely be quite a while before fans actually find out what is in store for the real Max.
